beliefs in chains
Belief in Chains explores the weight of conviction. A severed angel's head hangs from its own halo, chained to the symbol that once represented purity and truth. The hollow head becomes a functional purse, its emptiness reflecting how identity is shaped by the beliefs we carry. Bound not by another, but by its own convictions, the angel asks whether our beliefs set us free or become the chains we choose to wear.

Where the eyes close
This painting explores the relentless nature of anxiety and OCD through a body covered in watchful eyes, each one searching for danger even in moments of safety. The embrace symbolizes the rare refuge of unconditional love, where hypervigilance softens and the eyes close where two people touch, allowing trust to exist where fear once lived. It is a portrait of borrowed safety, the quiet hope that, through the care of another, we can begin to believe in our own.

Imprisoned by Comfort
The demon counts beads over and over, searching for certainty in a world that refuses to offer it. What begins as an act of comfort slowly transforms into a cage, as each repeated gesture promises safety while quietly demanding another. The beads become both prayer and burden, symbolizing our deeply human desire to believe that if we do everything "right," we can protect ourselves from uncertainty.

Help me Out
This Demon knows what he is. He is a demon, easy to pass by because you don't believe he is worth saving. But he reaches out, desperate for help out of this prison. Will you help him?

You Cant Shut Me up
You Can't Shut Me Up explores the resilience of self-expression in the face of silencing. A demon stands with his mouth sewn shut, yet new mouths emerge from his hands and stomach, refusing to let his voice be contained. The hands symbolize creation, suggesting that when speech is denied, art becomes language. The stomach represents the body's core place of instinct, survival, and sustenance where truth continues to grow despite fear.
